When I started this blog I hoped that it might serve as a recorded history for my children and grandchildren one day. Arrogant of me I know, but I grow sadder as senior family members lose their memories or pass away. I also wanted to just record the sweet and good memories to smile on when times get a little rough. So....
This weekend the grandchildren, Lorelei and Zak were at our house while their sweet, talented Mom did some photo shoots. Favorite moments:
Krystal: Lorelei, don't have a conniption.
Lorelei: [Frustrated and obviously confused] Yes! No! Yes!
I am having a condition mommy!
It really was hilarious. Ok, you had to be there.
We have a screened in porch which is great this time of year. I sometimes spread a large quilt on the floor out there and the children bring their toys to play on it. It was late in the day on Saturday and Zak was a little sleepy. He was playing with some plastic animals, especially the tiger. He laid down on the quilt with his little butt in the air like toddlers are prone to do and said, "Meme, tiger is sleepy". He laid the tiger right next to his little face as he fought sleep for a few minutes. I love that little guy.
I love my family :)
